Welcome to our world

KOLC-TV was started in 2004 by Oglala Lakota College. The college felt that the Native Peoples were not being represented in the national media in a positive image. OLC approached the Golden West Telecommunications network. With their genours support KOLC-TV began airing local Native American content. KOLC-TV broadcast academic, cultural, and historical events. We are showing the Lakota's real life accounts.

As you can see we have changed the format of our website. Because of polularity of smartphones and tablets we are designing it for mobile devices as well as PCs. We will still support flash as an option. This will allow visitors to see all of our content no matter what device or computer they are using.

We hope you enjoy our content and will continue to offer more as time goes on.
